04.11.26, 6pm – Lasercutter Introduction
- Want to use the X-Tool Lasercutter by yourself during the semester? Come to the official Laser Introduction. Bring a small SVG file and a material of choice to engrave or cut if you want!
- Please check out the X-Tool Laser Tutorial before get a general idea of how it works.
- Comes with a general LAB introduction (needed to access the LAB independently).
11.11.26, 6pm – Concrete Casting
- Concrete is one of the most versatile materials around. It’s ideal for anything that needs to be heavy, durable and weather-resistant, like planters, bookends, coasters or garden objects. In this workshop you’ll learn the basics of mixing and casting concrete and take home a piece you made yourself.
- On the day, we’ll work with existing molds, so you can just show up and get started.
- Want to make your own design? Let me ([email protected]) know in advance. The week before the workshop, we’ll 3D-print your shape and cast it in silicone to create a custom mold, which you then fill with concrete. If you’re making a custom mold, please arrive an hour early (5 pm) so the mold has time to set.
